simon43
I signed up for AIS Fibre 4 months ago - the router and a TV Playbox were provided on a return-at-end-of-contract agreement. That's fine. Now I need to move to live in Isaan. I can hand back the router and playbox, but am I bound to continue making contract payments until the end of a 12-month period? I can't recall the termination conditions, and of course I can go and ask at the AIS shop. But I'd like to know the conditions to end the contract before I visit the shop to return the router and playbox. Anyone have an AIS Fibre contract? BritManToo
Why not just change your address with them. They don't usually charge for moving your service to a new house.
mtls2005
The top page of your Agreement is in Thai and English. It should detail any penalties. Often it involves giving notice, paying through the notice period and paying any discounted installation charges (on one contract I just looked at the figure was 4,000 baht). Maybe have a Thai friend review the longer (~ 6 pages) terms, look for the cancellation section. Obviously if AIS has service in your new location then you may be able to shift the current contract. simon43
Thanks - I know that my new location/town doesn't have AIS Fibre service.... I'll try to interpret my contract!
