Do you seriously think the election results will polarize the country to that extend again? I certainly hope not. It was very ugly last time with Bkk looking like a battle zone in some areas. Why nobody did not not notify the police about it? Why nobody did not contact with opposition headquarters or election committee? It is important, because such precedents can cause ellection cancelation. But actually no proof, just messages. And it looks like attempt to discredit ellection process. Losers try to justify themselves.
mommysboy
The only silver lining in the election is that there is now a strong, democratically elected opposition who can presumably champion democracy unhindered.

Roadman
Odds against Pheu Thai? It is looking like they will hold enough seats to negotiate for the house. Future Forward will go with them which is exactly what is needed as it will test them as a newbie to see if they have the honestly to stand up against the Shinawatra slime bags and force them into democratic governance for the first time without their buying out of officials, police and their armed thugs threatening the courts and reigning terrorism on the streets of Bangkok. Newin and his Bumjaithai Party right now are sitting on the proverbial golden goose awaiting the courtiers to arrive bearing untold gifts. Hopefully he will go with Pheu Thai and Future Forward as what is needed right now is a test of the house to operate democratically beyond just an election for this term under the watchful eye of the Army selected Senate. Given the loaded bases from the start this is actually a damn good result for Thailand and a chance to see how a some what forced and controlled democracy could operate over the next term. wilcopops
One thing in Thai politics is constant...that in a straight vote the pro Thaksin Pheu Thai party has always been the largest party, the majority for nearly 20 years.
dallen52
It's a no win situation. Or no lose. The unpopular political choice will be returning even if he loses the vote. Because the military has 250 seats to nominate. Juntas are like that. Dictatorial.
dallen52
You could set your watch on the outcome result. Did someone mention a watch?

Not a watch, just a good old ringling clock. If this is not winding you up, a battery (its the army anyway) would do Watches are kept (well) at their pocket.
