Police seek Interpol assistance over fugitive South African suspect in murder of Thai businesswoman

As part of an ongoing manhunt for a South African man who allegedly killed a Thai jewellery businesswoman at the weekend, police have contacted Interpol for help in locating the suspect, who has reportedly fled to Hong Kong, Immigration Bureau commissioner Pol Lt-General Surachate Hakparn said on Monday.

Thailand's election results to emerge slowly, could take weeks

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thai election officials said they would announce the winners of 350 parliamentary seats on Monday and more details of those contests would come on Friday, but a clear picture of the lower house's 500 seats could take weeks to emerge.

Thai Airways International (THAI) president Sumeth Damrongchaitham on Monday said the ballots from advance voting by Thais in New Zealand had arrived at the carrier’s cargo centre on Saturday evening, but no one came to pick them up until the morning of the election.

PHUKET:-- Phuket Municipality has begin rolling out free emergency water supply to residents in Phuket’s busiest tourism town as reduced pressure in the mains water supply has left many without any running water at all.
