Food is great, pool is a godsend but getting there from Kalasin or Khon Kaen is a nightmare on the 2039. That 2039 road is just awful. I'm not surprised most speed on it. Fear drives this I think. So I'm after kid friendly hotels with a pool local to khon Kaen and maybe something in between khon Kaen and kalasin. Because we visit kalasin but we never enjoy it so if we can have a Sunday in a poolside hotel on the way back to KK. It will make the trip much more bearable.
