webfact Posted March 25, 2019 Share Posted March 25, 2019 Meth tablets seized from Mae Sai banana plantation By Natthawat Laping The Nation Some 50,000 methamphetamine tablets were seized by rangers of the Pha Muang task force on the Thailand-Myanmar border area in Chiang Rai province. The drugs were seized at 6am when the patrolling rangers heard a dog barking at someone in an isolated banana plantation in Muang Daeng Tai village, Tambon Mae Sai, in Mae Sai district. They saw someone speed off on a motorcycle. When they rushed to investigate the area, they found a sack hidden among banana plants. The bag held 50,000 meth pills, which have been forwarded to Mae Sai police for further legal action.
