They were peddling access for personal enrichment. I don't know if it was legal or illegal as many things that enrich the elite unfairly are legal now. He has gone out of his way to protect, and coddle this serial killing dictator. No doubt he colluded. The report does not clear his name one iota. Maybe the 4 page summary did, but Barr is bought and paid for. Totally compromised, and perhaps one of the worst AG's the US has ever had. He makes Sessions look like a man of tremendous honor and integrity. And who has consistently lied to congress? Trump. Who has consistently lied to the American people? Trump. One thing I give this man credit for is spin. He is a master of spin, deflection, disinformation, lies, fabrications, misleading facts, and hyperbole. He is masterful at creating a distraction. Even though he calls himself an outsider, he is actually a masterful politician, in a sense that he is able to create a false narrative that millions buy into. Impressive work.
