I doubt you would want it tolerated if even for a few days... if it were you living there...

And I don't think you would tolerate having your country usurped by a race of immigrants, on the fake pretence of having to some historical right to your country. Would Americans like it if the Brits sent over loads of British immigrants, kicked the majority of Americans out of the country, stole your land and then said, "Right, we were here first, this is our country, now pack your bags." . I think that Americans might start pointing some big guns around the place, in those circumstances.

Again Israel and again Trump who holds the l;ashes of Israel.

Just to create more problems in Middle East and more blood!

And this is totally against international laws too! of course no other country recognizes this apart from some US a  s kisser countries which US buy their votes.

No country in Middle East will recognize this even bug US ally, bigot Saudi Arabia.

Soon, EU might sanction Israel too.

More wars, more bloodshed is on the way.

and this is done in purpose just bc of this.

US wants troublee in middle east bc ISIS is weaker now. they need a new tension.

plus, US is 9000 KMS away and for them this is never an issue as they are far away.

it is just 'Throw the shit to middle east and let those countries deal with all those shit and bloodshed 9000 kms away from us.'

And do you think Syria with the support of Russia and Iran and all arab league will allow this to happen??? no way.

just more trouble awaits us.

Because israel, warts and all, is the true democratic country in that shithole called the middle east, the only country not governed or run by lunatic shiite/Sunni Islamic zealots and the only bastion unflipant choirant and solid people the US can call a true ally, THIS IS WHY...

true democracy? dont fool yourself! i mean you are no fooling anyone here.

Israel still doesnt have a constitution! Israel is run by Halacha - Jewish Religious Law.

and tell me please, what we call the countries that do not obey international laws and rules? like annexing Golan Heights?

'a rogue state and never a democracy.'

and tell me, how come Netenyahu can stay in his position with all those corruption charges?

in which true democracy you have a such a corrupt fascist running as prime minister? in any true democratic country, they resign and step down in such allegations.

No true democracy go oppress Palestinians this way nor they steal their land or destroy their houses.

because her cause is our cause, her values are our values, and her fight is our fight,

I think they stated it clearly, right? ... it is called being an ally.

What I can't understand is why the USA blindly supports Israel, a country that repeatedly behaves so incredibly badly. Any other country that acted the way Israel does, the USA would be leading the charge to impose sanctions against it. It beggars belief that they do the opposite....approve and cheer them on.

Trump has overturned all previous US administrations' stand on Golan.

Do Americans realize that 130,000 Syrians were ethnically cleansed from Golan in 1967 to make way for the transfer of Israel's own population there ( a war crime under the Geneva Convention)?

Does Pence in the name of Americans endorse the cause and values of shooting as "infiltrators" many of those Syrian refugees who tried to return to their homes  - a pattern repeated elsewhere in the Occupied Territories.

It simply undermines respect for and the credibility of the USA when Trump and Pence so enthusiastically abets the crimes of this current racist regime.

I think they had not much more than bows and arrows at that time facing the 'big guns'

But it seems we agree, nobody wants anyone pointing guns down on them...

I'm talking about now, not when Indigenous Americans roamed free. I'm talking about US citizens, like yourself not being happy if Britain recolonised the US.

Think yourself lucky, the only reason that Britain hasn't reclaimed the colony is because H.M. The Queen, doesn't fancy living in the White House. Buckingham Palace is a far superior crib.

yeah, ethnic cleansing sucks... I am sure that 8MM jews from Germany and Poland etc would agree...

Exactly. Which is why the massacre at Sabra and Chatilla was so horrifying. A race of people who had suffered the holocaust, within living memory, then committed an act of genocide on another race. Man's inhumanity to man knows no bounds.

Your venomous views on Israel, jews and zionism are well worn out by now, repeated and regenerated over and over again, while others might be swayed to listen to reasonable rebuttal and common sense, not you, your steadfast in your hatred towards anything Israel and infect, the only time you appear to comment on these pages is when an subject regarding israel or Palestinians are up, why is that sir?...

It doesn’t make his views any less valid... arguably more so as he is consistent and unwavering in opinion.

i have personally debated vehemently against dexterms position, (May have even earned myself a suspension on the issue ????) specifically regards Hamas in Palestine, and will do so again, in threads about isreal v Hamas’s Palestine.

however, in this instance, he’s right. Donald is defying the world with this course of action. He is again making unilateral decisions that effect the world, not in the least because he weakens international arbitration bodies and divides the international community. His arguably selfish motivation upsets the working status quo and regional peace, and it must be challenged by all reasonable persons.

dear old Donald... upsetting allies and empowering enemies... MAGA... but what will the new world order be, once he’s finished galvanizing Muslim support against the west? (At the least... what with Russians now deploying on dons doorstep in Venezuela... to not expect them to now move southward across Syria would be naive)

assumedly the UN and NATO will condemn Donald yet further... and hopefully the Muslim world et al, will hear that condemnation and accept it in lieu of any overt reaction, until disturbed Don is dust, and a form of sanity returns to international politics

I am vehemently opposed to the current right wing government of Israel and the racist supremacist ideology of Zionism. I have never once said anything anti Semitic. Please quote my words where you think I have done so.

I have contributed to the discussion on Trump and Brexit...the standard fare on this forum. Others are far more expert than I on those matters. I try to balance the extremist pro Zionist writers such as yourself; otherwise this forum would become a monologue.

Careful- he'll drop the Holocaust in next (the tired churning out of which always conveniently forgets that thousands of others were murdered as well as Jews - but its always ready to be dragged out as a rebuttal.).

I am getting sick of the current 'anti-Israel' is 'anti-Semitic' bandwagon- it's very feeble and desperate.

Benny the Thug is currently in Washington for AIPAC and from the look on Donald's face in the above picture he is definitely drinking the kool aid. He looks ready to blow Benny- who knows he can twist the Donald around his little finger as soon as he mentions shekels.

Trump is the best thing that has happened to Israel in years- illegal settlements are booming and they are acting with even more arrogance than ever, knowing that top cover is there in the current Washington 'Administration'.

Silly idea by Trump... this land was wrongly taken and should be returned.

Arguable... the golan heights commands isreal, and was repetitively used as a strong point to attack the Jews. Until there is a comprehensive and lasting peace plan in the Middle East, Isreally occupation or better, UN peace keeping operations, should maintain control.

persecuting? Or returning fire when fired upon?

Persecuting.

what next? Would you say that Jews rebelling in the polish ghettos, resulting in the “on the spot” execution or deportation to death camps of tens of thousands of their fellow Jews, was also equateable to “returning fire when fired upon”?

It isn't Trump's "idea". Funny how we just spent two years of non stop investigating the virtually non-existent "influence" of Russia on American politics while completely ignoring the influence of another county that practically owns both major parties and calls the shots in all three branches of the American Government.

bc there are not many Jews living on these countries you listed! not even 1 percent of the population.

still, there are parliament members coming from minorities at times.

but arabs consist of 21 % of the population of Israel! so sure they will be in the parliament as the true owners of those lands and as big minorrity.

again, another poor misleading attempt from a pro Zionist.

The pay off for Trump is his pandering to his huge base of christians evangelist who are pro israel and would love nothing more then to to strong Israel in its borders of the promised land as jesus''s land...

and you guys trust some fascist evangelist white supremacists?

they use you guys according to their agenda and once they finish with you, you are all alone there. not bc they want iSrael to be strong.

actually vice versa they might want the opposite once they are done with ISrael.

and those guys are racist for everyone, including jews. one of them raided a synagogue in US and killed jews inside. and you are fine with them?

just wake up man.

Israel not run by Zealots - then dream on sunshine.  The Golan heights are no more part of Israeli territory than the Falklands are part of Argentina.

Britain couldn't take squat. The official US Military could take that day off. The largest unofficial militia in the World would decimate them in nothing flat.

My father fought in the British Army in WW2 and would often regale me with tales of how crap American soldiers were.

We'd beat you up ,...bigly.

Or by bribery using the racket method as is the usual eu style

Not a single other country in the world, besides Israel and Trump, supports this illegal annexation of another country's land. Well maybe some tin pot central American dictatorships and Micronesia too.
So it is a waste of time and ink.

It will be reversed when the Trump admin goes.

It tramples all over international law, undermines US credibility and sets a very dangerous precedent that it is OK to acquire territory by war. Opens the flood gates to international anarchy.
