Despite report findings, almost half of Americans think Trump colluded with Russia: Reuters/Ipsos poll

CNN just did a poll asking what were the main things that will affect your 2020 voting. Immigration came out top at 20% and the Russian issue came out at 0%.

So, just like in 2016, it is best to place little validity on poll results.

Elizabeth Warren ( who I’m not a fan of) just was on a clip on TMZ ( you can find it easily anywhere) running for a train in Penn station on route to DC. The train was now going to be 5 min late so the reporter did catch up to her. She made a comment of recently touring 12 states and Puerto Rico. The guy asked her about the Mueller report and she says “ you know, I just spent two days in New Hampshire and didn’t receive even one question on it!” She went on to say what people have on their mind in the USA.  HMM

Some  TVF members are always soo loud and trying to CONTROL the conversation but never really have the knack to tap into what is really important to the real general American public.

I’ll be back in the states after Songkran for 6 months and socialise a lot in Boston where I live and NYC where I visit a lot. Most dinner conversations and bar banter,  even in Cambridge MA, across from Harvard University,  regarding the USA and world news will be completely different than what some poster in Pattaya or somewhere ( who is just searching all over the internet for links that support his own beliefs) seem to be obsessed with. It’s a big world out there and key board warriors need to get  off their butts and learn reality.

As you said in your post above be very scepticle about ANY polls. It doesn’t matter where they come from.

...and what if he did?  What if he didn't?  Who cares.  If you know the truth, WHAT are YOU and your army going to do about it????

Minds of Americans made up long before report released.

I want to see and read the report, not just Barr's likely partisan summary of it, before drawing any opinions.

Not only to see what Mueller found and didn't find on particular issues and why, but also to see what issues/areas his report addressed at all.

For example, there's a substantial issue/question regarding Trump's business and financial ties with Russia and Russian interests that certainly could address a different kind of collusion/compromise -- economic/financial rather than election-political.

But right now, it's not at all clear how much if at all Mueller got into that in his report. And especially if  he didn't, it seems as though the financial/economic compromise/influence issue should and will be examined by the ongoing House investigations into whether Trump has been compromised by Russian interests.

Mueller's main mandate was to examine the issue of potential collusion between the Russians and Trump and the Trump campaign regarding the 2016 election. But obviously that took Mueller off into tangents regarding illegal, foreign lobbying and influence activities by various of Trump's cohorts that apparently didn't bear directly on the 2016 election. So it will be interesting to see if his actual report deals at all with the financial/economic issues regarding Trump himself and Russia.

You have any original thoughts of your own or did you copy/paste this without attribution because it represents perfectly, the tone and tenor or your own thoughts about Trump supporters?

Why didn't you copy/paste in the first paragraph?  Not that I think it makes a great deal of difference, because this is just a rant by an old guy targeting like-minded people and the younger set (SighSo.... - yeah, he did).  But, that first para at least offers a bit of context and the appearance of disingenuous, attempted understanding.  Did you think it diluted the provocative tone of the rant or something?

Based on what I've written so far, what do you think - am I a MAGA/Trump supporter?

First para of the Castro rant below in quote box, link underneath.  Check out his FB page, quite the science fiction writer.  His rant does touch and goes through the MSM echo chamber as well - no problem for me, he's an author, gotta satisfy the target audience.

The member provided the attribution at the end of his post. BTW you seem to have missed the author's conclusion...

What you don’t get, Trump supporters in 2018, is that succumbing to frustration and thinking of you as stupid may be wrong and unhelpful, but it’s also…hear me…charitable.

Because if you’re NOT stupid, we must turn to other explanations, and most of them are *less* flattering.

No, I didn't miss it.  Thanks.///

50:50 whether he did or didn't. Absence of evidence is not necessarily evidence of absence. Some of the people in his campaign did collude. IMHO the person who comes out of this with credibility is Mueller, despite all the Twitter abuse heaped on him by Trump. At least Mueller knows how to keep his mouth shut.

Well atleast this is a fresh defense:

Trump is guilty but Mueller is a good guy and keeping a secret for some reason.

Why did Trump need to collude with Putin again?

And why did Putin need to collude with Trump?

Why would they not be equally successful pursuing their common yet individual goal of keeping HC out of office by simply working independently?

Haha!

Yes, no one has ever accused Trump of keeping his mouth shut.
