Lt Gen Surachate "Big Joke" Haparn in his capacity as deputy of the tech police has confirmed that a "Rapid Report" system was hacked in last weekend's election.

He said that the Election Commission contacted the police and he was able to confirm that hacking took place.

He said that those responsible were people who had been involved in hacking before but he gave no further details telling reporters an investigation would run its course.

He said that reports regarding irregularities over 600,000 votes and the exchange of two vehicles in a garage were "fake news". He warned people not to share this story.

He added that 20 cases of alleged illegal posting on social media were under investigation.

I know, right?  Asians in general seem to think that looking stern and borderline constipated denotes come sort of quiet strength, competence, and wisdom in PR photos.  But that's just a Western point of view.  Actually, Trump and Putin do the same thing, but I digress.

This lot can't brazen it out forever, and they know it.  The 21st century is knocking at the door and they can't keep it out forever.  The internet and the younger generation will see to that.

So, this marvelous genius is not only the chief of immigration, but also the leader of the tech police? Is that because immigration is not enough of a challenge? What gives here? I think he simply misses being with the cops, and finds picking on foreigners and ex-pats, discouraging tourism, destroying hundreds of thousands of jobs, and diminishing the nation, to be less fulfilling than working as a top cop.
