snoop1130 Posted March 27, 2019 Share Posted March 27, 2019 Sukhothai man burns to death in motorcycle crash By The Nation A man was found dead with a badly burned body after his motorcycle crashed against a tree on the side of a curved road in Sukhothai's Sri Satchanalai district early on Wednesday. Police and the fire station of Tambon Ban Kaeng Administrative Organisation were alerted that a fire broke out at a roadside forest and a man was killed on the Sarajit-Ban Kaeng road in Moo 4 village in Tambon Ban Kaeng. Residents told police that they heard a motorcycle speeding and a loud noise and saw fire engulfing a motorcycle and its rider. The man was identified by his relatives as Nattawut Krua-oon, 24, of Moo 4 in Tambon Ban Kaeng. The relatives said the man worked in Uttaradit and was apparently riding his motorcycle home when the accident occurred. The man was sent for victim identification. Rather than the motorcycle crash causing the forest fire, I suspect the forest fire was ongoing prior to the crash and the smoke and heat may have been a factor in the crash.
