They has been looking for evidence of underage sex, drugs, and weapons and were also checking up on the histories of staff working in the area.

All was above board.

Earlier at the Pattaya police station a force of 50 cops, soldiers and other protection personnel had gathered.

They were split into two details to investigate wrongdoing in Pattaya ahead of the Songkran Festival the week after next.

No problems were found elsewhere either according to the report.

Sure, nothing illegal found. Busses and trucks, all brakes are in prime condition and tires are as good as new. There is no corruption and everybody lives in harmony. The poor have increased their life quality by so much. And immigration is getting rid of visa agents..... NOT! the place is laughable, a bunch of <deleted> clowns in uniuform they are.

The Pattaya police don't realise how stupid they look.

No illegal activity noticed by the BIB.

How about prostitution,that's illegal business.

Close the bars and Pattaya becomes tumbleweeds.

Police  are far better staying put in the station counting all the brown envelopes.

Just what you expect to see on the streets of "South East Asia's Premier Family Resort". Dozens of armed police and soldiers marauding around!

No wonder we read an adjacent article today relating to Pattaya being short of tourists.

One mystery to me is why they always wear those stupid helmets when they go on these walkabouts. Can someone please tell them, they need to wear those when riding their motorbikes.

Image. Ego. The uniforms are...you can see for yourself. So many ribbons, medals, wings and egg salad. Functional in this climate?

And nobody was smoking in the bars as per the health ruling of Feb. 3 55555555555. What a bloody joke the Pattaya police are, at least their comrades at Nongprue went around and warned bar owners of the new rule now to see if they back it up.

I thought many of the bars here were cop-owned?  Naturally they would not find anything amiss given the right amount of notice.

Fancy appointing a police chief named Prawit!
