rooster59
Anutin Charnvirakul Leader of Bhumjaithai Party Bhumjaithai Party leader Anutin Charnvirakul said last night that he will only work with political parties that cherish the country’s highest institution and not engage themselves in divisive rhetoric and political confrontation. He declared that the days of “dictatorship vs democracy” ended on March 24 when all political parties entered the general election to play by democratic rules. It’s the clearest message from Anutin, whose medium-sized party is being seen as a key to breaking the current political deadlock, on which side of the political divide he will ally himself with. robblok
Ok seems he will join the junta side, his choice. I might not like it but that is how coalitions are formed.
newatthis
Then, if he and the party were genuine, they would stay as an opposition party and not affiliate with any other party. This "cherish the highest institution" is a bit of a phony front. It's just an excuse here to accuse others of wrong.

My thoughts exactly. The Dem's should stay independent, too.

Eric Loh
A party that was formed to enhance the interest of the establishment and the military in 2009. Not surprised by their cryptic message to support the junta. The party will continue to be a pepherial mid-size party and selling out their democracy principles. Wouldn’t be long before their supporters turned against them like the pariah Dem Party.

Selling out their democracy principles - the same aligning to a party owned and dictated to by a non elected crook you mean? Anyone who things any Shin party is "democratic" is naive at best. Anyone who thought the swamp would be magically drained is also naive. The game just goes on and on.

Looks like you love the swamp and non elected coup government and you can’t figure out the difference.

Not a chance in hell, prefer FFW even with the PTP. I dislike Thaksin always will, but the junta is worse at this point. Maybe one time it will sink in that being anti Thaksin does not mean pro junta. Right now I am pretty sure that if the PTP can form a government that they won't pull any stupid stunts like trying to get Thaksin back or huge corruption plans like the rice program. The junta on the other hand keeps everything hidden and is well protected. So they are more likely to be corrupt.

Chang_paarp
The man could not lie straight in bed. From the full version of OP; Quote Anutin didn’t discount the scenario in which none of the major political parties is able to form a coalition government. “In that case, Bhumjaithai may step in to end the deadlock by trying to form a coalition itself,” he said. In other words he is up for the highest bidder.
