BMW Overlander 931 #1 Posted April 15 Could this possibly be the best motorcycling route in Thailand? In my opinion it is certainly in top 3. If there is a single mountain ridge line road in Thailand resembling racing track, it is R1081 in Nan province. The most exciting part stretches between villages of Bo Klua and Ban Nam Yao as seen in this video clip. This what resembling the Road Runner, cartoon like road which I promptly christened this way, is an absolute riding delight for any rider; excellent quality road surface, suitable for all kinds of bikes, hardly any traffic at all, stunning scenery, mountain vistas, high elevation ridge line road featuring few steep switchbacks, long sweeping curves passing through sleepy highland hamlets and farmland. It has all the ingredients every motorcyclist craves for to test their skills or simply enjoy the leisurely ride. 3

tlandtday 1,550 #5 Posted April 16 It's okay but I am never blown away by Thailand's natural scenery with the exception of the Krabi area. Runs in Vietnam are for more scenic.

Assurancetourix 13,104 #7 Posted November 20 On the fork of my pink bike you read D. Salmon; it's the name of the one who made my bike; Daniel Salmon who was, in his time, an honorable professional cyclist in France https://encycloduvelo.fr/salmon-daniel-cycles-salmon/
