Attempted manslaughter ? There is no such thing, nor can there be. Manslaughter has no intent so to attempt to kill someone would require some form of intent. Valid point... then, Grievous bodily injury by dangerous driving and Grievous bodily injury by careless driving under the influence of drink or drugs ... In the cases of death... Vehicular Manslaughter... When someone knows they may injure or murder someone through their actions of driving dangerously or drunk... then the charge of attempted murder seems applicable.
