Future Forward party secretary-general, Piyabutr Sangkanokkul, reported to the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) police this morning (Wednesday) to acknowledge two charges filed against him by the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO).

About 200 members and supporters of the newly-formed party showed up at the TCSD office to offer moral support to Piyabutr, a former law lecturer at Thammasat University.  Also present, as observers, were Mrs. Angkhana Nilapaichit, a member of the National Human Rights Commission, and officials from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

The charges of contempt of court and violations of the computer crime act stemmed from Piyabutr’s reading of a party statement, reacting to the Constitutional Court’s order to disband the Thai Raksa Chart party for nominating Princess Ubolratna as the party’s candidate for the prime minister.

Man! Just skimmed the title on the main page and thought it said "Prayut reports to police ... " and then opened it quick style, only to hugely disappointed.

555 if only! But Charly Chaplin is a 'Khon dee'. By law he would face life in jail or capital punishment but that won't gonna happen. Much fun in junta land.
