Barr press conference scheduled for 9:30am

pop corn ready.

It will be like a "press" conference in a Banana Republican. A propaganda dump by a fully owned partisan LACKEY. The reporters can't possibly even know what to ask as the report (as redacted as it will be) won't be released until AFTER the press conference. The current president is totally trashing the American democracy.

If there is an actual law that requires Trump to release his tax records, or the IRS to then it should be complied with. If not, then there is no reason to release them. What others chose to do is their business only.

If there is a law that says Muellers report must be released in full without redactions, then it must be complied with. If not, then it can be issued how the AG sees fit.

Amercians died in Bhengazi. The American people have the right to know why American lives were lost. They also have the right to know if anyone was responsible through negligence or whatever in contributing to those deaths. The conversation between Bill Clinton and the then AG on an airport runway, the comments from the FBI, etc etc all seem rather unusual.

Spin...spin...spin!  Whew, getting dizzy with all the misdirects.

well there you have it. no collusion, no obstruction

redactions are mostly grand jury/ongoing cases.

The russia collusion conpiracy is finally over.

Soon you'll be able to read the report,  pick at it like a vulture on road kill.

viva la resitance

Kinda like the last 3 years ,spin ,spin! Except for the conclusion! Barr, Mueller and Rosenstein together with the Mueller team and DOJ lawyers all took part in editing the redactions of the  Barr report with no executive privilege adjustments,No Collusion ,No Obstruction and No Conspiracies by any American

A statement?  I thought it was a song in two verses.  The first singing Trump's praises and the second a tearful lament about how he was done wrong.  Was that the US attorney general, or Trump's personal attorney?

It was a rhetorical question, pointing out the bias shown in his speech.

I seen no bias! I seen what has been reported all along for the last 3 years,No Obstruction, No Collution  and No Conspericy  by any American. You probably was watching something else as in your previous post you mentioned singing and crying .

The report is out now you can peruse it at your leisure and then give us your expert opinion.

Im too busy to read it, Ill let the Trump haters start their spin. Its over, there was no there there and its all politics. Everybody can fight it out again when the Horowitz reprts and the FBI/DOJ criminals are indicted.

I thought that .gov had learned its lesson during the Church Committee times. Evidently not. Time for another lesson, this one is harder when the press are the cheerleaders for those who would trample on the rights of Americans. Im old enough to rmember the bad old times, its sad that they are back.

Too bizarre. The same people who faulted Democrats for jumping the gun do it themselves. Truly clueless.

He is impeachable. The question now is whether the democrats in the house choose to take that path. We'll likely know the answer to that within a few weeks.

Well worst case scenario he is impeached. Too bad there is this thing called the senate. He will be impeached possibly and still win a second term. Maybe the dems should try a different tactic now and try to find somebody who isn't insane to run against Trump.

The dems are so outraged and angry and teared up and the real reason is they are becoming aware with what they have currently they are going to lose bigly.

Yes, it's a political decision. I don't agree with you that it would be that damaging if congress impeaches and the Quislings in the senate don't convict. This isn't Bill Clinton. This isn't about lying about adult consensual sex. This is ten counts of obstruction of justice and countless counts of presidential abuse of power. Mueller left it for congress to decide. It isn't for Barr or Fox News to decide. Mueller respected that a sitting president can't be indicted. But he was very clear, a sitting president CAN be impeached, and that's what the constitutional power of impeachment is about -- situations like this. But because of the timing now with 2020 coming up, of course it's still a political decision about whether to proceed. I have no predictions yet. It's way too early to know whether they will proceed but it's not too early to see they have strong grounds to proceed.
