And then you picked up something for 500B a night. Yeah, long time ago... And there was no BTS and Sukhumvit was wide open. And girls were friendly. There were almost no fat girls as there was no McDonalds. Datsun taxis had no air con and were so rusty you could see the road (Flintstone style) right through the floor. You'd get out dripping wet, but you didn't care as beer and girls were cheap. There was no Skytrain and Suwannaphum airport was a Cobra infested swamp.
