Bruh this is all so horrible sounding - is your anal cavity still healthy tho?

Yeah the tests make it super uncomfortable sometimes but it survives.  I've got a lot of really big internal hemorrhoids and the pelvic floor muscles are In horrible twisted knots which I'm trying to release with the PT.  This is the most refractory case anyone has ever seen of this in dc.  If anyone will have answers, it's the Cleveland clinic.

Read about bacterial stds.  Re-infection is a major problem and usually happens in non-monogamous circumstances and partners not getting properly treated.  I knew a guy in pattaya who had gonorrhea four times and still wouldn't wear a Jimmy hat.  Crazy I tell you

Different strains of the disease, like colds and flu, he wouldn't have caught it four times from the same woman.

Lots of dis-information spread about STDs, they behave the same as all other diseases, just a bit harder to catch.

I haven't read that before, so if you catch gonorrhea again it will be a different strain?

Unless you believe STDs behave completely differently to other diseases.

Viruses and bacteria behave a little different.  Hsv is totally unlike gonorrhea, for example.  Hsv SUCKS and even with a Jimmy hat you can get it.  It also causes urethritis.

One does not develop immunity to gonorrhea. You can catch the same strain repeatedly.

  • 3 weeks later...

I saw Dr Shoskes yesterday.   He is a leader in his field of urology and it really shows.  I was promptly diagnosed with non-bac cp cpps and sent to PT for three months for the pelvic floor. All here in cleveland at the clinic. He said after that if it's not resolved, he will look into other more invasive methods he tries to do.  I was just all around happy with the the Cleveland clinic.

Also- were doing a new culture in a few weeks but he said that the fastidious organisms found in microgen testing is not reliable.  He said that test Is too sensitive and a waste of time.  Don't do it.  Just get a regular prostate fluid culture.  Microgen isn't even a real regular culture.

Anyway it looks like my entire genitourinary system is totally and completely shot and I will never travel again or even have sex again.  It's over.

Use condoms and take care of your urinary tract folks.  My wife did this to me but it could be anybody.  Remember me as an example.

That's it for thailand and anything to do with southeast Asia for me.  Goodbye.

Got back from Thailand and got my MRI letter, diagnosed with prostatitis. But the urologist I saw didn’t offer anything Other than supplements to help with symptoms, said it’s a complicated problem, no way of knowing what’s causing it, he said prostate fluid test is unreliable. other men have told me to try the Microgen test, but it’s very expensive and I don’t think it’s worth it. Thailand/Thai girl done this to me too but I’m 28, I can’t give up sex just yet, it’s one of the only enjoyments in my life. But yes condoms are very important. Might try to find the best urologist in the UK but other than that it looks like I’m never going to have a normal quality of life again.

I'm almost completely cured now.

After 6 months of Doxazicin and finasteride everything works again.

The final item that tipped the balance is doubling my fluid intake.

It appears part of my problem was dehydration, so now when I have a cup of tea (etc), I add a glass of water (that i don't really want).

I havent completely given up its just that I feel like I want to every day.

Ive noticed that when i COMBINE these drugs/therapies together I am about 30-40% better:

3600 GABAPENTIN daily

100 MG LUVOX daily

100 MG MYONAL 2-3x daily PRN

1 Gram ACETAMINOPHEN PRN

10 MG UROXATRAL daily

800 MG IBUPROFEN 3x daily

CIALIS 5m once daily for straining

NIGHTTIME 30mg Temazepam nightly (loosens up all the of the muscles that cause me problems at night)

QUERCETIN 2 capsules daily

Bee pollen extract 3 capsules 3x daily

Daily walking

Daily muscle releases with the Therawand

Sitz baths 4 x per day

1 hour deep paradoxical relaxation daily

The problem is finding the time to do all of that and finding a doctor to perscribe all that <deleted> here in the states.  I end up waiting for drugs to come in the mail from overseas because docs are like "you take too many meds already"

I can sort of live a little bit.  The problem I usually have is getting ALL OF THOSE MEDICINES TOGETHER at one time and finding time for all the therapies.  Like right now I ran out of gabapentin and i had to stop doing the therawand because my hemhorroids are acting up so bad.  So like, I am in a flare, and theres not much I can do about it.

I am going back to Shoskes in November to get some botox shots into my muscles and my urethral spinchter.

I wantted to tell you something important Bono.  Oh yes.  You need to buy the book A headache in the pelvis, buy a therawand, and watch this youtube video (instructional NSFW):

The therawand really does give you relief that you FEEL instantly... Then I usually do paraxical relaxation and take my temazepam and go to sleep.

Finally dude, get a regular prostate fluid culture dude.  If you cant find a doc locally to do the prostate massage you can literally read how to do a massage yourself online, massage your own prostate, and IMMEADIATELY SUBMIT a urine sample upon completion.  You dont even need to tell them you did this you will just get the added benefit of having prostatic fluid in your urine sample so you will know if you have any infections system-wide.

Anyway, I may go to live in Cambodia if this flare ever stops and the docs get things in order.  I am able to masturbate maybe 1 x per week still.  Maybe I could manage sex again I dont know.  Sex has gotten to be of very little importance in my life.  But you want to get your <deleted> under control now so you dont end up as bad as i am

No antibiotics, just meds for enlarged prostate, I’m guessing enlarged prostate is not prostatitis ? Prostatitis is inflammation of the prostate.
