Prostatitis doctor in bangkok?

The bacteria is gone.  Antibiotics got rid of it.  What I suffer from now is the scarring of the tissue from the infection.  They're parasites.

That's good to hear, although as has been previously said, bacteria in the prostate are extremely hard to eradicate.

Mycoplasma hominis of and within itself is not a parasite but a species of bacteria, however this can cause problems if it forms a symbiotic relationship with Trichomonas, which is a parasitic type infection.

Anyway your main aim at the moment seems to be to get rid of the feeling of urethritis, which is bloody annoying and worrying, and to be able to pass urine normally.

I got to a similar situation as you and was suffering from what appeared to be continual urethritis with no apparent cause, however what did help was taking anti-inflammatory drugs for a month, which helped calm the situation down, and whether any scarring was helped to heal during this, I can't say, but I don't suffer from it now.

There may be some interesting info in amongst the attachments I sent you, but if not, possibly keep them on file for later use. Good luck.

Thank you.  I mean they're parasites in the elemental sense.  They're bacterial infections that enter the urinary tract of the human host to extract nutrients from your urea and other tissue.  Yeah there can be hidden infections especially if you've been on antibiotics forever as we both have.  I stopped taking them so I can have a new culture done antibiotic free after thirty days.  I've been on 500 mg naprosyn x2 daily for about two months now.  Urine usually backs up in the bladder and backflows into the prostate with  prostatitis.  Now here's where things get tricky.  Uu and mh can both cause strictures.  Strictures can cause prostatitis.  It's not normal for urine to be trapped in the urethra with prostatitis.  I had four urinary cultures, swabs of the urethra, two post prostatic massage cultures done.  Nothing.  I'm going to have my urethra looked at in bangkok and then we're leaving the country for better prostate care.  Thanks for the well wishing everyone.  This disease is so bad it would be an appropriate punishment for Adolf Hitler.

I wish you all the very best Señor, and would be most interested to hear how things go for you and what sort of treatments you have and how well they have worked.

I ask this out of a desire to hope that you are cured, but also to learn more about this horrible affliction and what treatments are available.

Kind regards

George,  the blockage you talk about could be sub meatal stenosis,it is blockage at the end of the cock. On discharge from that hospital in India they gave me these plastic rods (whatever the name is) supposed to insert it into cock and massage it for a time, about 10 days worth, opens the end up that has closed due to scar tissue or something like. Could not handle it,the thought made me shudder, but I suffered really did,it was painful when taking a piss, all over the place too.  Went to govt. hospital, told them what I wanted doing, trained nurse opened it up for me,only took a minute or so  530 baht

I did go to Goa to get my op,there is more going on there,Calcutta, not much 'cept for historic buildings, getting into that surf just at daybreak is something else.

Dashed my foot on a rock, went to nearby , cottage hospital for dressing  plus injection 100 baht, but there was visiting cardiologist from top heart hospital there, doing turn of duty ,did a heart echo test 200 baht,CD and ticker tape, thought this is crazy, how much here 20.000?

Monsoon on horizon   Id get moving  quick-quick......Adolf Hitler says sod you

I'm just about dead.  We're going to laos to pick up an Indian visa and heading to Delhi.  Where can we stay that's like cheap but safe?  Pool helps too.  My wife swims.

I'm basically dead.  Every night I go to sleep now wondering if I'll wake up in the morning.  I'm ravaged by this.  The wife doesnt get it Im afraid.  She speaks maybe 50 words of english.

I picked her up in pattaya and she doesn't work.  She had a job at a factory.  I'm guessing she doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell in getting a tourist visa for me to go to my doctor in america.  I can't travel alone.  I think I'm ****ed.

I don't know what your travel plans are but I would avoid India the next couple of weeks. Their 7-phase general elections end this Sunday and results are to be declared Th. 23/5.

Because of the expectedly close contest a fair amount of turbulence is likely post-23rd, which in India can mean violence and curfews. So I would keep an eye on the situation and book tickets only after the situation settles down, which it will. After that it should be fine to go to any major city.

I will PM you re another option.

Gees George, wake up (for a bit)  No need for Laos for Indian visa,do it on line, the forms a bit long-winded,take a break when doing it,the guy at the other end monitoring it will help too.  Just go to Trip Advisor,go look at options. The Rrps is down against most currencies so good time to go                                                 .plus if you cannot answer any or most of the questions, put any old crap down, they never check

Not sure why you haven't had a catheter put in.

Doesn't cost much (about 250bht in a government hospital) and will alleviate your symptoms in the short term.

Didn't hurt either, mostly inconvenient for my previously active life style.

Well the problem is that I have organ pain.  That will drain the urine but I am emptying so it doesn't matter.  The problem is my prestate itself hurts.  9-10 out of 10 pain.  It feels like I have a tennis ball in me.  That's not my bladder, thats the prostate.   That lump that you feel about two and a half inches into my rectum.  It's time for it to be hallowed out, I'm afraid.  I've had post void scans of my bladder and even a urodyanamic study.  I empty.  It's just a slow trickle but it comes out.  The prostate itself is very sore and there's nothing I can do about it beyond what I've tried already.  I've reached the limit of what thai doctors can do for me.

You must have had something in mind George to want to go to Delhi. Sounds like there may well be something going on beside prostate, cannot see how that is paining you,you already stated it is small sized, cannot judge by your method ,but mine at 140 grammes was a whopper by any measurement, not that it hurt but life sure was screwed up before the op,...pissing when you do not want to,not pissing when you are bursting,...back in agony because of liver problems created by it....but you are still here George, taking your time over these events

Chronic postatitis can be described as a smouldering haystack. It can flare up

even when the fire appears to out.

Treatment must be long and prolonged...intensive for the first 4 months....and then

a lighter regimen for the next 6 to 12 months. This wreaks a bit of havoc inside the gut

so must be supplemented by good probiotics. And discipline in terms of diet is key.

No alcohol, coffee, spicy stuff for sure....lots of water, natural cranberry and pumpkin

seeds.

The current regimen should be Bactrim (trimethoprim sulfamethoxazole) 800mg twice a day

for two weeks. Followed by twice a day Ofloxacin 400mg, for two weeks. Repeat this cycle three

more times.

Then, if it hasn't gone completely, you need maintenance for 6-12 months.

One way to tell you're ok is having a problem fee piss....and of course a Peter North

style ejaculation. Only one way to find out.

Last thing, you need to get your head straight.  Find a psychologist who deals with chronic pain patients who is equipped to deal with your issues, help you relax and cope with your pain.

This is sage advice.    Do what he said,  there is some stuff you have to get help for.

I just got an email from an Indian doctor.  I'm going to take care of this possible stricture in bangkok (at least they can do that), some internal hemorrhoids, and then it's away I go to india.  Laser, hifu, nerve block among my options.  Awesome.

I remember one thread where a guy went to India for treatment but seemed to come back too quickly so when he had a couple of issues after he couldn't get it sorted. I'd hang about there until reasonably confident no issues. Cheap place to stay anyway apparently
