TRIPOLI (Reuters) - Forces loyal to Libya's internationally recognised government have pushed their eastern opponents back on parts of the frontline south of Tripoli, despite the attackers flying overnight air strikes on the capital, witnesses said on Sunday.

COLOMBO (Reuters) - Authorities lifted a curfew in Sri Lanka on Monday, a day after 290 people were killed and about 500 wounded by a string of bombings that tore through churches and luxury hotels on Easter Sunday.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's customs-cleared exports fell 4.88 percent in March, after unexpectedly increasing in February, due to falling shipments of electronics amid the Sino-U.S. trade war, the commerce ministry said on Monday.

Air pollution rises as fires continue to burn in North

Following a huge drop in the number of hotspots in Mae Hong Son during Songkran, fires have once again taken hold, prompting officials and volunteers to work around the clock on putting out the flames. Particulate dust in the area on Monday was still slightly under the safe limit of 50 micrograms per cubic metre of air.

Chiang Mai Sixes final day report

Finance Ministry to boost tourism with Bt1,500 payment to domestic travellers

Seastead structure dragged back to shore by Royal Thai Navy

A floating seastead has today been towed by a naval vessel back to the Port of Phuket in Cape Panwa. Meanwhile the Deputy PM Wissanu Krea-ngam is challenging the owners and builders of the structure to take the Thai Government and Navy to the International Court of Justice.

Hopewell Holding wins final court battle over controversial project

The Thai Ministry of Transport and the State Railway of Thailand have been dealt a devastating blow as the Supreme Administrative Court today overturned the Administrative Court’s verdict and ordered the two state agencies to pay almost 11.9 billion baht in compensation to Hong Kong-based Hopewell Holdings Company for the termination of the Hopewell project.

Migrant workers and employers must inform DOE of changes or face fines

Foreign migrant workers who have either taken a new job or left an old one must inform the Department of Employment (DOE) of the changes within 7-15 days or face a Bt20,000 maximum fine, DOE director-general Petcharat Sinuay warned on Monday.
