Future Forward party leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit today reiterated his denial that he had violated the election law by applying to run in the March-24 general election while still holding shares in a media company.

Lawyers of the party today submitted a letter of clarification about Thanathorn’s share-holding in V Luck Media Company to the Election Commission’s Office.

One of the lawyers, Mr. Worawut Butmart, insisted that Thanathorn had fully complied with the law and had transferred all his shares in the media firm on January 8, the morning of his return from campaigning in Buri Ram. Worawut also said that he felt the Election Commission (EC) was trying to wrap up the case before May 9th, not allowing the firebrand Future Forward party leader a chance to defend his case.

What do you expect from a military led regime... a fair playing field?

Look at all the military regimes world-wide over the last 70 years & you get some idea of how it usually plays out!

I thought this is a benevolent "good people" military; different from regimes world wide. At least this was how it is being framed by our local junta apologists.
