When does the local burning ban end?

Recommended Posts

For no other reason than I dont want a 5000bt fine when I put a match to my bonfire.

My neighbour been burning odds and sods for weeks, he obviously trusts me, but I dont trust him

"..but I don't trust him."

Is there no better way of disposing of this stuff, rather than burning it?

I could spend two days putting it in the car and then after pumping out all that carbon monoxide, I could fly tip it like all those other sensible people who will not burn it

Maybe a better idea to wait until the rainy season, when you can burn it and the smoke will be knocked down by the rain. Just put a tarp over it to keep it dry until you are ready, with a bit of diesel on the side.

That possibly would be some smelly stuff there.

The burning ban is a technicality that Thais ignore. Like speeding. Burn at night, not burning, just a fire that you were, fortunately, able to put out.

A good time to not burn is when you see lots of Thais wearing helmets on motor cycles or not driving drunk, otherwise just go ahead (if you must).
