Not played away since April when I had a couple of massage stunners in Saigon, followed by two more in Phnom Penh bars. Lost interest since my pal died of AIDs in July.

Did drink plenty of Hanoi beer and Nada beer along with glasses of the freshly brewed stuff in beer street though.

Hi Britman

What were the drinks and food prices like ? Similar to Saigon ?

What time did bars/restaurants close ?

Cheers

If Vietnam is 20 years behind Thailand, how is it they have the above, and Thailand doesn't????

I've found that a lot of food places in old town Hanoi close about 10 - 11pm but at the top of Hang Dau St I found the same kebap place in britmantoo's post #217 above open late, tables and chairs on the sidewalk and the food was good and cheap...

If you want a look around, better off not staying in the same place for 3 months

What a strange remark

Since when is the fact of hosting a F1 Grand Prix is a sign a development?

If so, what about the fact that Azerbaijan hosts one and the USA hosts none ?
