khaepmu
I am wondering if I can just stick my Samsung changer into an American electric socket and charge my Samsung cell phone that I bought in Thailand. or do I need some kind of adapter charger for the USA. Can I get one in Thailand? What would it be called?
mtls2005
Most/all adapters are 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz so no issue there. Just a matter of matching up the physical plug, which, depending on your adapter may or may not need an adapter. Most adapters sold with phones here are U.S. compatible (two vertical flat plugs). beachproperty
I never had a problem just plugging in my Thai charger in America to charge my samsung. Been doing it for 14 years.
geoffbezoz
As others have said no problem as all modern Samsung chargers are dual voltage. However just interested that you bought a Samsung phone in Thailand. Would it not have been cheaper to purchase in the US ?
