Camelot believe that Mark Goodram, 36, and Jon-Ross Watson, 31, used a stolen debit card to buy the £4million ticket after it emerged that neither of them had a bank account. They said the card they used belonged to a friend called John but ‘John’ was nowhere to be seen having gone ‘up North’, according to The Sun. CanuckThai
This would be an awesome ending, if the owner of the stolen debit card was identified, and presented with the lottery winnings. Karma at its finest....

smedly
very interesting, would have to assume John already reported his card stolen but there might be a way round that very interesting to see the outcome of this
Ulic
If the card owner had the money used from his account to buy the tickets replaced by the bank, the bank should get the willings as they paid for the theft. If the money has not been replaced the bank accounts owner "John" should get to keep the money as he paid for the tickets. These two bums should be charged with theft and fraud. khunPer
Why not just pay the £4,000,000 price into the bank account of the owner of the debit card, as he must be the real buyer of the ticket...????
