Five tonnes of dead fish were found floating in a pond of Wat Sitth Sangkharam (Nong Khram) in Prachuap Khiri Khan province on Sunday.

The mass deaths of Tilapia fish and common carp at this temple in Tambon Nong Ta Taem, Pran Buri district, raised a foul smell in the area, prompting temple workers to remove the fish from the water. Their deaths were blamed on the severe lack of oxygen and the extremely hot weather.

No,  the people are to blame for no maintenance of the water. There are many way to keep the water full with oxygen, keep it moving like the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej showed us all with his invention of the Aerator. http://www.nationmultimedia.com/detail/national/30298152
