JimmyTheMook
Sad how the designs of old are treated as goofy tourist symbols now for the masses of backpackers passing through Thailand. Sure every corner tattoo shop is offering fake 'bamboo tattoo' using yantra designs but now seeing get an authentic Thai Temple Tattoo on AirBnB. plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose https://www.airbnb.com/experiences/223773?currentTab=all_tab&federatedSearchId=2fe323f2-1c8a-420a-8a37-692e25dd5b76&searchId=87814451-177b-4f1e-b0d6-991ae92979bf§ionId=d71a4515-468f-4165-a8a6-ae89b2f4e7cf&source=p1
Inked In Asia
We also feel the same about this. We specifically have a monk bamboo tattooist who can read the sak yant script and will sometimes insist on some people where they should get their artwork and what size etc because of the sacred sak yant.
