Having said that it's not just in this country, because I have lived in two other countries and in both of those have experienced friends who are in exactly the same boat, they just cannot do even the simplest of things on their own, so they just have to be in a relationship.

 

I will relate one particular funny story here, with a friend who had been kicked out of his marriage because of infidelities and found himself living on his own, in a house which I managed to find for him. Anyway I asked how he was settled in and he said that he had learned how to cook now, and would I like to come round for dinner – – so I accepted his invitation.

 

Imagine my surprise sitting at the table when he produced a large plate and on it was a lamb chop which was a great candidate for replacing the sole on one's shoe, not only by its colour which was almost black, but by its toughness. 

 

Beside this were a few tinned peas peas and a couple of tinned potatoes, and that was it. So I asked him where the gravy was and he didn't have any because he didn't know how to make it, but said that if I wanted to come round tomorrow for dinner I was most welcome, so I asked him what was on the menu, and he told me the same as today because that's all he had learned how to cook.

 

Just to round this off, it was bloody awful and he soon had to find a girlfriend, which he did, because he was just useless on his own, and he eventually married her.

It just tapered off, lack of interest on both sides, but we get on well and have children so it doesn't bother me. I have a son in England, a daughter and granddaughter in Germany and a son in Thailand, I've sown my oats, it's time for the younger generation to take over.

Well for me it's my secret life and your right it's a friendship but the correct definition for a relationship between a man & woman in my view and I find Thai people don't believe it.

I have to say a lot about this issue, but I am really debating if I should go there.

 

I am not paying a stipend, tho nor did I ever give a single payment to my wife. If I did then I would have been long gone.

 

I'll tell you this. I have been in a lot of long term relationships. Women are the biggest bshetters. In the beginning they will promise you this that, threesomes and once she gets bored with sex she'll suddenly "forget" about the past and what she did while she was into it.

 

God, I remember my wife sending me pics of her butt and doing dirty Skyping while we were into each other. Now she acts all proper and any pic that exposes her skin more than 15% will get me a phone inspection and eventual deletion.

I've know guys who couldn't even do bloke things never mind the girlie stuff. I went to see a new friend once in the UK and he was sitting in the almost dark except a lamp and the t.v.  Why ? Because he didn't know how to change a light bulb. Others I've met couldn't put a plug on a cable . Others for whom checking engine or radiator oil was rocket science. Worst was someone trying to put a screw into something and couldn't figure why it wouldn't go in. Had to explain that it needed to be turned clockwise.

 

Some guys should just stay with mummy.
