Obviously they didn't see through Boris' lies. Selective vision? Or just blinkered Brexiteers.

Minds were made up, opinions had been formed and decisions had been made. When will you finally twig?

Further to my #17 :

Not true, leavers are quite capable of reading, remainers suffer from a very acute selective comprehension syndrome.

So it was true that being in the EU was costing us £350m per week? It's been thoughroughly debunked. Just a blatant lie.

So it's true that this money, had it ever existed, would be diverted to the NHS. Not whilst a Tory government remains in power who have consistently starved the NHS of money. Another blatant lie.

That's the issue with results, anyone can interpret them in his own way.

You mean like some people will say less than 2% and others 17.4million.

I go with <2% = not a clear majority.

I think people made it clear at the recent local elections but there's only 1 way to find out for sure, ask them via a 2nd referendum...

Can we have a second vote if Steptoe Corbyn wins the election?????‍♂️

The local elections showed how pissed off folk were with the Conservatives and Labour parties regarding the UK not walking on March 29, nothing else.....

Not true - Corbyn is unelectable for a variety of reasons!! Not the least of which is his tendency to side with terrorist organisations against the country in which he seeks to become Prime Minister!!

Do you have any proof of this claim?

My money is on another referendum in a years time, May 7th 2020 because:

  1. It takes best part of a year to organise one.
  2. First Thursday in May is local elections and has been favoured in recent years for holding a general election.
  3. Tories will be looking for something to mask another kicking by the electorate.
  4. Another referendum is the only way out short of revoking Article 50.

The NHS is a bottomless pit when it comes to funding it, time for a rethink on the NHS and the way it spends its money it receives, but that is for another thread.

The brexit bus stated: "lets fund our NHS instead, not send it 350 million.

This has to be a joke. The best possible outcome for the establishment if they force a re-run of the referendum would be a vote to remain leaving the score 1 vote leave and 1 vote remain, which would leave a far greater impasse that the current situation, and would require a decider vote. A best of three. This would all waste years and leave the markets, business and house-owners in turmoil. No. We had a referendum. Against all odds Leave won. Now lets get on with it. Thanks.

Or:

”52% decided to commit suicide (because the doctor lied and told them they had terminal cancer), so 100% of us must do it (even though we all now know the doctor was a liar)”

Brexiteer logic.

Any vote based on a series of lies is an affront to democracy. If we have a second vote, based on the facts, Brexit is dead ... that’s democracy.

No, that is not what forums are for.

Forums are meant for information exchange and discussions, not for quoting somebody else, and then not reacting to it but just repeating the same information over and over again.

Quote a post, react to it.
