smedly
fit every thai vehicle with a cage/roll bars since they insist on driving into each other and the police refuse to enforce moving traffic laws - protect them from themselves that is a high speed impact in the OP - if it was raining then they didn't slow down

toenail
When drivers lack common sense and there is no “real” police patrol to enforce the rules of the road, this will continue. ( This death rate from traffic deaths in Thailand keeps the population down. I guess that is a positive way of looking at it.)
