I think you forgot about Saudi Arabia and UAE. But the basic point is right. Not too much support out there. In fact, if you took a poll of American voters. I doubt there would be too much support if Trump actually goes to war except for diehard Trumpistas who applaud Trump from disentangling the US from foreign entanglements and doubtless now will applaud him for doing the opposite.

And yet, loathsome as it may be, the Trump administration manages (on some instances, at least) to utilize the USA's might (example, sanctions on Iran) in an effective manner, regardless of most countries being less than happy about it.

Lack of support is one thing, and and lack of a cooperative, effective international opposition is yet another.

And what has that got to do with the support of the American electorate? Which was the point I was addressing.

Look up the beginning of your post, then reference the posts making up the exchange leading to it (and specifically, posts in favor of bans, boycotts and international support).

You're really going off the deep end now.

Not even remotely, but guess feigning ignorance of what you yourself posted, posts commented on and posts appearing in topic is becoming an issue for you.

And what stopping you from addressing those issues in other posts? Ridiculous to claim that they are relevant responses to a point I raised and you quoted.

the trade thing was always about 5G, AI and autonomous vehicles i.e. that China simply has the biggest market in terms of people to adopt it and without all kinds of regulatory and mass media stuff to deal with such as a Tesla catching on fire etc etc... can plod ahead of....... USA. it was not about "fair trade", steel production or Make Farmers Great Again baseball caps..... and be first to market.... globally, yes?

same same?  a better border wall was never about drugs, "jobs" and "Mexican rapists". it was, in general, about things already predicted eons ago now, such as what has, a little more recently, been exposed as very poor, yet very near term, projected rainfall patterns for most of..... Mexico and large swaths of South America..... due to something we can't even talk about in the USA at all rationally, Climate.  because it conflicts with too many folks version of how, and "why" of course,  the Universe was created.  it's true.

same thing.  Trump all his life never buys b.s.  another example?  "fight the international communists, and besides, it'll be easy for us to conquer a little country like Vietnam and we are winning! in South Vietnam! we are winning big".  Trump?  bone spurs.

another example. street smart New Yorker.  not what he says.  what he does, and all along.

this trade thing is huge.  and China will fight to the end.  maybe.

You've the makings of several good posts in there, on a variety of topics, but unfortunately this one was a little hard to follow.

Their other problem is half their states hate the other half.
