webfact
Officials investigate complaints of elephants on Phuket beach By Kritsada Mueanhawong Officials have investigated social media complaints about elephants in the water and the taking of photos with tourists on Tri Trang beach. They say that any coral is about 50 metres from the shore, far from any possible damage from baby elephant feet. sunnyboy2018
I love elephants being seen, ridden and gainfully employed with their mahouts. The PETA animal rights extremists are the only nutters talking about torture.

This is the 21st Century and visiting an elephant sanctuary is a more appropriate and civil way of seeing elephants. ( Go to Youtube and watch “The Really is A Dark Side to Elephant Tourism.)
