Fast track visa airport service any good?

Recommended Posts

Any difference one company from the next? The  fast track services that rush you through the airport for about 2000 baht....We might splurge to avoid the lines or at least save a little time.....Using for arrival only one way. Can you trust any transpo they line up for you(regular taxi not vip limo)? .... I understand many consider this service a waste of money. I always have before but am considering trying it once. Any good or bad experiences I'd appreciate tips, ect... Thanks!

Used this mob a few times. Never had a problem.

I have used them for departures &  only used once for arrival & service was as described. Went all the way thru immigration priority line with me. Cost 1,200 baht.  Meet at plane exit & escort from there. Well with it if not flying business class IMO>   Didn't use their taxi service so don't know about that.

I'll be using these guys arriving at Swampy 11 June. When I get back settled in, I'll report back.

I've used the same company after a trip to the UK with family (young kids).  Didn't fancy the potential of standing in a long queue with grumpy / hungry / bored kids after a 16 hour journey so booked their service, with golf buggy from the plane and a car.  Service was exceptional, well worth the money.

Apparently , Quandow was assassinated for using the fast track service. We know this because of his silence despite his promise.

Let this be a warning to others. As Maggie Thatcher said , you can't buck the system.

I used limousine.in.th for a mid-afternoon arrival last Saturday. Took 1 hour from meeting at arrival gate to handing off at entrance to domestic security after check-in. That included assisting with oversize baggage collection and re-check. Their biggest advantage is getting you through the expedited lane (NOT Premium lane) at immigration.

Good value.

Anyone used klook for this? they seem a bit cheaper. How are they still managing to do this. The only problem with this service is if many start using them it will take just as long as the conventional line

I used limousine.in.th and there was about 30 people, mostly family groups already at the expedited immigration desks. However, a lady IO enquired of the escort if I was single traveler which I was and she opened a 'closed' desk and processed me ahead of the small herd. Very efficient.

What's the difference between the "Expedited Lane" & the "Premium Lane"?

Have used https://www.limousine.in.th/fast-track-immigration.html & found the service (& cars) very good but nowadays I pay 20,000 THB for a 1 year membership with TLM & they take me through the Fast Track lane (In & Out) - I do about 20 return flights a year so it works out approx 500 THB each time. [Never have checked in luggage so genuinely save 1-2 hours on arrival & get an extra hour in the lounge on the way out ????

I called it 'expedited' because this is Thailand and the durability of it's name in English and even its existence isn't guaranteed.

In the meantime, everyone and his dog on this forum that whines about the airport and generally being treated like dirt in Thailand typically can't tell the difference between fast track, priority or premium and probably don't have a clue about what they're entitled to anyway. This agony is further compounded by being mostly unable to find their own <deleted> with both hands and a flashlight... or google.

I just watched this official guide to the immigration at the airport. According to this aliens residing in Thailand, I take that to mean on extensions, can use the automatic gates that Thais use, seems unlikely, anyone tried? It's at just after 3 mins Who would stamp the pp?

I also use this company every single time I arrive in Thailand, and thats about 6-8 times a year.

All it took was one time for me to get backed up into the main hallway waiting on immigration surrounded by chinese tourists screaming at each other and cutting up the lines for me to commit 100% to never, ever doing that again.

I've tried using one of these services last week. On their website they say that if you've EVER had an overstay in the past you are not eligible to use it. I had a one-day overstay (no overstay stamp and I doubt it's flagged anywhere), so asked if that will be a problem. Was told that due to the immigration officer having to do extra checks because of the overstay they will need an extra minute or two to process me which is not allowed in the VIP lane.

Long story short - went through the regular lane, queue wasn't bad, about 15 minutes. The immigration officer took about 30 seconds to process. So much for that B/S...

I used this fast track company last week for the first time and it was as advertised. ( https://www.limousine.in.th/fast-track-immigration.html )

I booked 30 hours before arrival via their website which was easy and i received the confirmation within 5 mins.

Person was waiting at the airplane with my name and he used the Thai Airways fast track line to guide me through immigration.

Good service and will use it again.

Good to know. I have booked their service for a trip in October that has a short layover, trying to maximize sleep before flight to HKT. I did verify that they have every intention of continuing to offer their service, and this was their response:

"We are expecting to be able to offer our services as usual,  so that also includes passengers holding economy class tickets. The changes that are currently being published on the news are specifically related to the VFS "fast track lane" and their coupon system, as well as (any companies that are related to) BFS ground services fast lane services. We do not use, nor collaborate with, either of them."

I used their service this evening (my second time using them) and it was great - waiting at the airbridge with my name, couple of golf buggies, through fast track (straight up to a free officer), through customs, and in to a waiting car.

Unfortunately my flight docked at gate D7 which is pretty much right opposite immigration so the buggy ride lasted about 30 seconds and half of that was going the wrong way just to drive around a travelator.  And immigration was quiet so other people from the plane were waiting at the carousel with me.  But after a long flight from the UK with kids I see it as a valuable insurance policy.  Definitely a great service and very well organised.  (The golf buggies are a cost option - you can opt to walk and save money)
