Man adopted by Belgians hunts for his Thai parents

Isn't there a national DNA database he can access ? Heck, he should check the DNA databases in the USA in case a relative is on it.

I know a girl who was adopted.... her adoptive parents gave her everything, love and a descent EDUCATION ... in the end, she returned to Thailand, to find out her mother just kept on making more babies that she kept... her mother died before she found her, but found the family...that started to ask for money from the "rich" adopted girl.... she did not care that her adoptive parents gave her a future and now "working" in Thailand...

many adoptive children end up killing themselves, keep on asking why, why this,  why that

And you would trust Thai DNA testing? He’ll probably end up with the “parent” who handed over the largest brown envelope to the lab

This is sad indeed. We will never know but one of the reasons she came back may be that she identifies herself as Thai, and felt more comfortable in Thailand. This might have be exacerbated by the prejudice she might have experienced in farangland for being "different".
