Mother on the run after abandoned newborn found on Loei plantation

A mother disappeared after delivering her own baby boy in a hut on a Loei rubber plantation on Monday, just a day before her husband who was jailed for two years was to be released, police said.

LONDON (Reuters) - A man has been charged with common assault and criminal damage after a milkshake was thrown over Nigel Farage, the leader of Britain's Brexit Party, police said on Tuesday.

Hundreds of foreign companies attend North Korea trade fair despite sanctions

SEOUL (Reuters) - An international trade fair in North Korea this week may be the largest such event on record, analysts said on Tuesday, with hundreds of Chinese and other foreign vendors taking part despite sanctions pressure.

Political parties still unclear in forming new govt

BANGKOK, 21st May 2019 (NNT) - Following the March 24 general election, it is not yet clear which political alliances will have enough seats to set up a coalition government. However, all eyes are now on the Bhumjaithai and Democrat parties after they have agreed to pair up to increase their leverage and boost the political alliances’ chances of forming a new government.

PHUKET:-- Police Region 8 yesterday put on display 193 firearms as well as more than 310,000 meth pills and more than 2.3kg of crystal meth, all seized in a post-Songkran anti-crime blitz from April 20-30 and May 11-19.

Marijuana users queue up for amnesty on last day

More than 1,000 people queued up outside the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) head office in Nonthaburi to put their names down as users of marijuana on Tuesday, the very last day of the amnesty period.
