But his wife's new love interest survived. After giving himself up the estranged husband is in custody facing attempted murder charges. The drama happened at a house in Sadao near the Malaysian border. Suphan Arandorn, 39, had been married to his 25 year old wife for 2 years. But their relationship soured with constant arguments that led to them breaking up two months ago. They had not formally divorced and Suphan wanted to rekindle the relationship. When he heard that his wife was meeting up frequently with a man in the market he armed himself with his granddad's .38 and went to the house. There he found his wife making out with the man. Three shots were fired then he fled. He later gave himself up to Klong Ngae police and was charged with attempted murder and weapons offences. In mitigation he said he was angry and could not control himself.
