After using the 800k agency method

They do but its 100k a year for 5 years, an elite visa, or 20k to an agent.

Or 50k/year with the 20 year one.

Just saying, its not that far off from using an agent but it's all legitimate (as much as that word even exists in this country...) and comes with a bunch of perks.

Who do you think are processing the agent's applications / renewals ?

This thread seems full of people who have never even stepped inside an agent's office

The agent's staff. The Expat may only attend immigration for photo and to pick up the extension.

I don't see your point in the context of my post you quoted!

You can't get "caught". There is an agent who has an office at Chonburi Immigration. They solve problems by funneling money to IO officials. The perception that agents are operating outside the law is insane.

Correct , the official stamp on your passport ,  via an agent is valid.

These changes ,  making it more difficult for visa requirements ,

are there to encourage more farangs to use agents, thereby funneling money into ??

          No Big Joke.

The righteous brigade , sit on your 800k , watch the cobwebs grow..
