webfact
"Miracle escape" for pick-up driver as tree crushes pick-up in northern Thailand Picture: Daily News A driver of a Toyota Mighty X pick-up had what Daily News called a miracle escape when a huge tree fell on the vehicle on Wednesday afternoon. The media said it was amazing that the driver was not killed - the person was not even injured at all. The tree fell on the Sailee - Kenkor Road in the Mae Ping national park in Lamphun. Authorities cut up the tree that was blocking the entire road for some time. Picture: Daily News The story came from "Sai Khao Jit Asa" a news and volunteer site on Facebook. Thaivisa notes that the number of the vehicle was 9479....for lottery purposes. It is fairly obvious, well to me, that he was not in the car at the time taking into account the location of the steering wheel!. It looks like the car was parked half off the road. The driver wasn't a lumberjack by any chance?

Wouldn't be the first time a tree felled has fallen on the fellers(?) car/house etc. Youtube has plenty of those accounts.

Jim walker
He would have needed to be very slim to have survived that if he was in the car at the time looking at the steering wheel

inThailand
There has to be a lucky lottery number somewhere in this story. When a falang fell or was helped off the balcony of a hotel in Udon, the first thing the girls asked is what was his room number.
