geoffrobbo
"New PM will be elected". Sorry to be grammatically pedantic - don't they mean "appointed". But neither matters when we all know who it will be. So perhaps it is "we will tell you what we decided long before the election"

Mavideol
why so much mystery and speculation, we all know who will be, they should stop the circus and move on to something more rewarding. sjaak327
the 11 minor parties is where the focus should be. Those parties did not even earn a seat on their own merits, but were awarded seats due to a very controversial, undemocratic way of counting votes. And ALL 11 sided with the junta. Considering the way the political landscape in Thailand is shaped, that is simply impossible. I think when investigation is done into where those 11 parties are coming from, it will be found that they are all being setup by the NCPO or people close to the NCPO. It is simply astonishing that they are trying this nonsense in this day and age. In any case, the anti junta coalition, which comprises of just 7 parties, already has 245(246) seats, so it is down to Buriram and the dems to come clean, support dicatorship or democracy. The choice should be easy.
