The Pattaya News reported that they went to Sukhumvit Road Soi 43 after complaints that a sign was damaged in the high wind and rain.

A video showed that a section of the zinc sign was flapping precariously in the wind.

Locals said it collapsed last year and was threatening to do the same now.

It belongs to Nanaphan Electronic said the media.

I recall being in Central and looking through the glass at a storm on the Beach Side. Loose advertising boards were blowing around in circles like in a blender. Get indoors when it is like this.

QUITE right.....no need to take down as it will fall down on its own accord....saves someone in Pattaya city hall having to think what to do about it, in its present condition !!!

Oh right, I thought this was a massive sign on a hill somewhere, saying "Pattaya", similar to the Hollywood sign in the US.

I think one should be more worried about the "Waterfront Condo" collapsing...
