Gandtee
I want to put in a new bolt rope into my awning without stitching. It's made with the fabric usually seen on shop blinds. Any tips on the type of adhesive used on this type of material?
eyecatcher
Without stitching!? You want to wrap it only or what. Sounds like contact adhesive on vinyl fabric is the way to go
Gandtee
Contact adhesive used. Now a hazard to look out for. Those small bee/flies that congregate and breed in small holes. On removing the fabric from the rollers I found the rollers jammed up inside with sticky wax and traces of their honey, that's if they produce honey? It was the devil to clean out. It was those rascals that ate my blinds, making them resemble lace curtains. So, be aware of those rascals and eliminate them at the first sign. With what? I don't know. I've tried different sprays and none seem to be 100% effective.
