The first meeting of the House of Representatives was anything but smooth and orderly as it was marred by protests and boos from several MPs, who were apparently venting their pent-up frustration after being gagged for the past five years under the junta’s rule.

DMS: Marijuana can only treat four diseases

BANGKOK, 25 May 2019(NNT) - The Director-General of the Department of Medical Services has emphasized that patients must only use medical marijuana according to the indications of the disease under the guidance of doctors. He also stressed that medical research suggests that marijuana can only be used to treat four groups of diseases, not all diseases and not as many as 39 diseases.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Former Thai prime minister and influential royal adviser General Prem Tinsulanonda died on Sunday morning at age 98 in a Bangkok hospital, a palace official told Reuters.
