Unfortunately that is the fake pass shoddily pushed by the Hard Brexiteers. How so? By labelling Soft Brexit = Remain. Dishonest politics to the core.

Its not dishonest at all .

A soft Brexit isnt  really , completely leaving .

What had previously been put on the table was the UK half staying in the E.U.

So a soft remain will be half leaving and half staying in , which isnt really leaving at all

But it also isn't really staying.

If you remove the threat of No Deal from the table, why would the EU negotiate anything other than has already been negotiated/agreed (and they've said many times that they won't).

Agreed. A no-deal should be the STARTING point in any new negotiation.

Most Hard Brexiteers don't want to know anything other than an echo of their own opinions. And adding up Hard Brexiteers and Soft Brexiteer numbers to justify Hard Brexiteer opinion is hilarious. Stick it with the other junk they peddle.

In your opinion.

I wouldn't even call the now failed WAB a soft exit. It was only a capitulation treaty. It was all a trick and correctly dubbed BRINO because it was not any kind of a Brexit.

We have not seen any evidence of a soft brexit proposal yet, from any side. If there was to be a soft Brexit it could only be a full exit plus the trading terms which have not (publicly) been discussed yet.

Although they fall into the category of softy Southerners, I would have to acknowledge that there are very few to no Londoners left in that there Londonistan hell hole. They were smart enough to abandon it to Johnny Foreigner. All the cockney geezers fled to Essex - how did they vote?

Since yesterday

UKIP had 24 MEPs.....and now has none.

The Nigel Party had none.......as now has 29.

Increase in hardcore Brexit MEPs........5 (just under 21%).

So the core truth is that the same old Brexit supporters have merely changed parties and been joined by a few protest voters.

Not at all the triumph for leave that is being trumpeted.

The big change is in the explosion of support for the only "out and proud" mainstream Remain party.

The Liberal Democrats have gone from 1 MEP to 16.

Increase in hardcore Remain MEPs.......15 (increase of 1500%).

A 21% increase is bloody fantastic and this from a party that wasn't even heard of until 6 weeks ago.

Yes and pretty much  all taken from the Tories and Labour.

The Lib dems were fighting on two positions, Brexit and Climate change so you have to say their support is a bit of a mixed bag.

The Lib Dems and the Greens have many other manifesto policies that people would have voted for, not least the environmental aspects which were brought to the forefront by the recent Extinction Rebellion protests.

The only single issue party on the remain side was Change UK. And they won zero seats.

Don't comment on stats if you don't understand them. Labour and Tories are not included in any pro or contra brexit stat here.

As far as I recall both Tories and Labour stated in their manifestos that they would deliver Brexit. Not everyone who voted for these parties candidates was a Remainer.

How can the Brexit party honestly be considered for Government when they only have 1 subject that they've shared any views on (& named their party after).

Talk about a 1-trick pony, what about Education, Healthcare, Policing, armed forces, the economy... etc...

Single issue politics is often a very effective way to gain a foothold in chaotic times, when people are frustrated, then worry about the detail later.

They all lie about most of the other stuff, just to get elected, anyway, surely we're all old enough here to figure that out by now?

Yeas I agree and can you remember a few weeks ago many members on here were ridiculing Nigel Farage with his march from the North to London and saying he was a has been and those that followed him have died or changed their belief. How silly and out of touch those members are.

32% for the Hard Brexit Party. No wonder they don't want a second referendum.
