Popular Post AlexRich
A lot will depend on Brexit ... if that goes badly then it will get worse against the Baht, Euro and US Dollar. Popular Post SteveK
It's going to get worse before it gets better that's for sure. I'm expecting 36 within 6 months. Then maybe within 10 years we can get back to 50. I'll be dead by then. Edited June 3, 2019 by SteveK 4

The UK doesn't export anything worth any money, it has corrupt politicians stealing money with counterfeit expenses receipts left, right and centre, and is the butt of Europes' jokes. The British Empire is long gone, to be honest with such scumbag thieves at the helm it's amazing that the pound is even worth 39 baht. It should be worth zero. It's a crap country, completely moronic politicians who couldn't crack open an easter egg, the only people who want to go there are Syrian and Iraqi refugees which the government throws money at. It's a disgusting, cancerous place to live and I refuse point-blank to bring my children up in such a dog-turd of a place. And did I mention that it's a complete sh!t-hole? Popular Post SteveK
Yes 35-36 for next 5 years sounds reasonable. The UK is disaster of a country clinging on to the days of the empire, it has nothing to offer apart from crap weather, crap food, overpriced property and some of the most disgusting, self-serving, lying, cheating politicians in the world. Anyone with assets or income in GBP is screwed. The UK offers nothing in the modern world. Nobody likes the monarchy, there are race riots, the currency is plunging, it is the cancer of the modern world. The behaviour of the politicians is absolutely disgusting, the quicker the UK sinks from global warming the better. Popular Post kickstart
Or the Thai baht goes pear-shaped, the way this government s spending money it is not sustainable, ask any Thai they say the Thai economy is not good, and Thai borrowing again is not sustainable, another 1997 coming up.
Popular Post Chivas
The problem is Sterling/Dollar, absolutely nothing to do with the Baht per se. Thats been in a very narrow trading range around 31-33 for some years against the reserve currency the USD The problem is the other side of the currency pairing namely Sterling/Dollar and whilst that remains around $1.26 that side of the two pairings will drag down our exchange rate Revocation of Article 50 or even a Brexit deal signed off will see Sterling surge against the Greenback and hopefully back to pre referendum levels of $1.55 Then we'll see Sterling/Baht back towards 50 again....
