Well she learned her lesson. Try India instead , plenty of temple sites she can do her yoga moves in.

Indians are just happy they can charge her money to visit/take pictures .

Tourist all over the world commit offensive acts as a result of not taking the time to learn the customs and culture of the host country. In Thailand the results in a visit from the RTP. The best way to avoid such a visit is to have a crime committed against you, then the RTP become very hard to find.

In the temples around me they have scantily clad young ladies dancing all night to molam music but then again that filthy disgusting yoga should be banned.the thing is thais love to make a mountain out of a mole hill when it comes to farang doing anything in the slightest wrong as it is a way of passing the buck on how they run their lives.

 Call 1155, YOUR FIRST FRIEND!!!!

Perhaps the Tourist Police have nothing else to do than harassing foreign tourists, instead of helping them?

How Buddhist is that image, "borrrowed" from India and never given back? Very similar to the "Thai dance" from Cambodia?

It would be totally different if she's "riding the snake."

It about disrespect - when tree huggers decided to climb up on Winston Churchills statue in London there was outrage - same here. Though lets not waste a chance to throw in a few thai slurs eh ?

Old Winston was a war criminal and any statue to the man should be raised to the ground.

Disrespect you say - having a cash machine on temple grounds, respectful?

Having half naked dancers thrust their groins to the crowd on temple grounds, respectful?

Ignoring everything that the Buddha stood for if they can't benefit financially, disrespectful?

Praying to the Buddha and asking if he could let them win the lottery, respectful?

and on and on it goes. Buddhists in name only, and that's not a slur, but a fact.

Probably best not to have a done what she did but I like that the tourist police don't have bigger fish to fry. Means that there are no real criminals kicking around and no real or obvious dangers to tourists that these police should be pursuing.

Things have been pretty boring for them since the investigations concluded there was no prostitution in Pattaya.

The term "tourist police" can be interpreted in various ways...

For the purposes of fair investigation and prosecution, could we the honorable Thai Visa Posters Judges and Jurors combined, have some more pictures please to assess if the woman also lacked respect to the sea,  in some unappropriate beach attire...
