A new Pound to Baht exchange rate forecast by The Economy Forecast Agency (EFA) makes for grim reading for Brits living in Thailand. The EFA predicts a low of just 27 Baht to the Pound by 2023, which would value 1,000 baht at £37! Of course this is just a forecast, and whether the Pound gets stronger or weaker against the Baht depends on a wide range of factors, some of which even the most experienced of financial experts would be unable to predict. Britains foreign currency reserves are currently 173billion up from 40billion in 2001. UK are 15th in the world only a couple of places behind Thailand. Then in a few years you'll be happy whether you decide to take your money back to Britain or stay in Thailand. There are always two ways(or more) to look at such a situation.
