Tourist Police have launched an appeal on social media for information as to the whereabouts of three foreigners who were caught on CCTV vandalising property in Bangkok.

The trio were caught spray painting a wall and the side of a pick up truck in Sampeng, Chinatown on May 29th.

On Wednesday, the Tourist Police shared three clips of the foreigners on their official Facebook page.

The post specifically asked hoteliers in the area to try and help identify the group.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Tourist Police hotline on 1155.

"The post specifically asked hoteliers in the area to try and help identify the group."

Note to police: Besides "hoteliers", check where the back packers hang out and sleep.

If you have a hotelier why bark yourself.

Judging by the videos, they didn't look drunk or out of control.

The best thing those stupid punks could do would be to turn themselves in now, unless they're already out of the country.

Perhaps if they do get caught the police could do them (and the public a favour) send them to Art College for some instruction on how to actually spray paint and graffiti properly as that is some of the s***est graffiti I have ever seen.  I have seen better-looking road kill.

Tourist police have arrested two American tourists in Pattaya who have graffitied walls and a pickup truck in Bangkok last week.

A 24 year old woman and 28 year old man, both from the US, were arrested in Pattaya last night.

They have admitted that there were three of them that sprayed paint onto public and private property last week in the capital. One of their friends has already departed Thailand. They apologised to the Thai people and warned other tourists not to repeat their actions as they would be arrested.

All three now face charges of damaging public and private property. Their visas will be revoked and their names put on a blacklist.

I wonder if the visa stamp in their passports might be revoked by an IO spraying it in bright pink with a derogatory Thai comment?

Doesn't seem unreasonable.

Cane them!

I agree!  I remember awhile ago some kid from the USA vandalized a car in Singapore.  I think he got three lashes from the cane.  The number of lashes was reduced from the original sentence but at least he received some punishment.

I think any everyday tourist with even half a brain wouldn't need to be "warned" by these two idiots not to repeat their actions.

Somewhat fittingly, the tag name on the side of the truck appears to be "Young rektum" - A pair of young a$$holes, I couldn't have summed it up better myself. Hope they get made an example of.
