Holy Moley  !!  there must be 200 cops their  !

Thailand doesn't have any prostitution ....  well I'm glad to hear that.

That means it's a clean place for families ... right ... !

Honestly who would actually bring their kids to walking streets anywhere in Thailand? Not me. Prostitution, possibly don't know I'm married with a Thai wife.

I am confused we now have a new democratically elected Civilian PM so why are the army still on the streets surely they should have all returned back to their barracks by now . I cannot see the public being to happy if the army are going to continue the role they have been doing since the coupe took place this is not good for Thailand

If you think he was democratically elected then you are confused - no offence.

For an explanation please see latest issue of The Economist and the article regarding the "election" of Prayuth.

Western countries don’t have prostitution ether. They hide it as call girl, escort services,Craigslist and massage parlors.and many other ways

And then there are those countries, the more enlightened ones, that have legalised prostitution.

I just adjusted my tinfoil hat and realized this has two intentions.

1. Show that the military is still in power.

2. Show that the military makes up whatever they want whenever they want and nobody can question them.

The 2nd point is interesting, it's like a display of power. in a weird way. yes, on the surface they look ridiculous. but the fact that they get away with being this ridiculous is showing that they have a lot of power.

The other day I heard strange noises in my daughter's bedroom so I decided to check it out. I shouted out her name and made loud stomping sounds as I slowly walked towards her door. I knocked and waited for a while. When she finally opened the door I could see she was doing her schoolwork and there was no sign of any misdeeds. I reported to my wife that our daughter is still virtuous and all is well in the family.

It seems the RTP conducts itself in much the same way!

Right, I always mix up Lourdes and Pattaya's Walking Street. How silly and ignorant of me.

On a more sombre note - it is reassuring that, irrespective of government in Bangkok or head clown at the city hall, nothing ever changes - except possibly some nicely stuffed brown manila envelopes containing church coral notes for the hourly singing going on in those prayer booths left and right along walking street ........ Amen!

I wonder if any study has ever been done to determine just how many people come to Thailand for the 'pleasures' of Walking Street and other similar attractions and what the actual economic impact would be if they did eliminate the charming ladies plying the world's oldest profession?

Hold it! No prostitution found but vandalism will land you in the slammer, according to the second lead story? You mean there's vandalism in Thailand and no prostitution in Pattaya???!!!! You could be in Uzbekistan, play a game of word association, say Pattaya and I bet you'd get prostitution as your answer.

Scotty beam me up!!!!!!
