Thanks for posting. You're welcome. Yes, who knows what is worth here... I had a quick google and I think only 8 cars officially imported. One was owned by the late King of Thailand and one by a Senior Politician. There was a sticker from a German garage on the rear so looks like an older restoration bought in a few years ago. To add, I have not been but found this website. http://www.thaiautovintage.com/web/home.php Doe anyone know any other classic car garages in Bangkok or the surrounding area? There is a Thai guy who posts classic cars on Facebook - Bangkok expat page...but I think he just adds a few $$$ to existing adds. If I get a lottery win maybe I'll splash out on this and get this restored! https://www.one2car.com/en/cars-for-sale/mercedes-benz/no-group/190sl/thailand_bangkok-metropolitan RAZZ

Popular Post Rdrokit
Found this on ONE2Car.com. I don't believe I have ever seen a Chevrolet El Camino in Thailand. It says it is a 1976 but it is actually a 1970. Not the original motor, looks like a later Chevy 305 or 350 TPI motor. Looks like a nice restoration. Reasonable price as that what a nice one is going for in the USA. https://www.one2car.com/en/for-sale/chevrolet-el-camino-ss-bangkok-metropolitan-on-nut/5587574

Not quite a classic garage, but they seem to specialise in Jag mechanical repairs, albeit mostly XJ40s in the google map photo. Probably worth keeping a eye on them to see what they get through the door. When i went past a couple of years ago there was a Jag Mk 10 tucked away in a corner. Trying to work out what is under the plastic cover at the back, it looks like a Merc 230SL https://www.google.com/maps/@13.6914119,100.6678753,3a,75y,33.98h,75.42t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1snPuInFNLs-qZ-1BGoFi_ag!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

I had one in the late 1960s and it was OK in the dry weather. But when it rained however the wipers were powered by vacuum. Try to over take in heavy rain and the wipers simply stopped working.
