Windows Media error message MediaPlayer

Windows media player works fine in my Administrator account, but in another account on my Win10 PC, every time I log in I get the message 'Windows media player cannot play the video because there is aproblem with your video card.'

 

Then I have to close this then reopen MediaPlayer.

 

This is a peculiar thing with this software, which I like. 

Anyone know how to fix this, as everything I've tried does not work.

Have you tried using another media player like VLC ?

Yes but I prefer this, though may have to use VLC

I suspect you may have "permissions" problems if it works for admin account but not for "normal" account...if you find the mediaplayer.exe file and right click "run as" admin does it work ?

I prefer to use GOM player. Works with all files never had a problem.

I can't find it in Win10.

Is anyone else is facing windows update error 80070103 after the windows update? Actually, after the windows update, it is showing me this windows error. Any solution to resolve this error?

Not sure of exact location...but you may have to enable "show hidden and system files" to find it ...also maybe called mplayer.exe or some such ...from my dodgy memory....if you have a desktop icon for media player then right click and select properties...it should tell you the filename and location.
